What once symbolised $$$ within the Hip Hop Culture has now become dental foliage for the rich and famous.  Who would have thought that combining the street cred of a 10 karat filling with the fullness of a quarter back’s mouth would great these garish yet glamorous gum shields?  From Rhi Rhi to Cara D, celebrities are taking on this ‘chill with my grill’ trend faster than Bieber can take on his impending meltdown.  Made from platinum, gold or encrusted precious gems, the saying ‘her teeth sparkle’ is becoming ironic yet iconic.  Belly Button Jewellery and inner ear piercings are so 2000 and never, it’s time to flash those gnashers and accessorize that mouth of yours.  From in a ya face full gold gummy set to a tinkering of gold on one tooth, designers like Dolly Cohen are taking this into art form.  Repeat offender, Rihanna has been seen with a diamond crucifix in between her front two, as well as a gold plated plastic gun across her bottom row.  Take on this more feminine twist on

The Autumunal pastels that blew along the catwalks last season are here to soften the looks for Spring Summer.  A flurry of cotton candy shades fluttered down the runway from Balmain to Marant, from Chanel to Balenciaga.  Gone are the days when a bubblegum ensemble was worn only by a Legally Blonde Reese Wetherspoon, this Barbie gal colour trend just went from trashy to sassy.  The sweetened silhouettes have been roughed up with textures and accessories and can be taken from prim and proper to street wear chic.  Toughen up a sweet like candy get up with a leather jacket or add a pop of pastel to an already boyish look.  Its time to combine the tough with the not so rough and feminise both your wardrobe and your style.
